Margaret (Peggy) E. Schott has worked at Northwestern University since 2008 as the personal assistant to Professor Sir Fraser Stoddart, a Nobel Laureate in Chemistry. She hails from NJ and studied chemistry at William and Mary prior to earning a PhD in organic chemistry at Northwestern University. Employment stints in research and teaching have included Dow Chemical, the National Cancer Institute, Georgetown University, and Dominican University. She is a member of the History Division of the American Chemical Society and conducts research on the life and work of historical women scientists.
