Poster Prize WinnersSince 1987, the ACA Poster Prizes have celebrated exceptional scientific communication and emerging talent across the crystallographic and structural science community. The winners listed below represent decades of curiosity, rigor, and creativity—recognizing posters that stood out for the quality of the research, clarity of presentation, and impact on the field. We are proud to preserve this record of achievement and invite you to explore the honorees.
ACA Sponsored Poster PrizesEstablished by the American Crystallographic Association and supported through member contributions, the Pauling Poster Prizes honor the legacy of Linus Pauling, a pioneer of American structural research and a longtime, dedicated member of the ACA. Presented annually at the ACA Annual Meeting, these prizes recognize excellence in poster presentations by undergraduate and graduate students, with up to seven outstanding student posters selected each year.
Partner-Supported Poster PrizesA range of externally sponsored poster prizes has long complemented the ACA Poster Prizes, reflecting the support of international organizations, publishers, and industry partners for crystallographic research. These awards recognize excellence across diverse areas—including macromolecular and chemical crystallography, crystal engineering, structural dynamics, low-temperature methods, biomolecular structure solution, and undergraduate research—and are supported by organizations such as the International Union of Crystallography, the RCSB Protein Data Bank, CrystEngComm, Crystal Growth & Design, and other long-standing ACA partners. Collectively, these prizes highlight the breadth of scholarship represented at the ACA Annual Meeting and the community partnerships that have helped sustain student and early-career recognition over time. |
